Birds, drugs & trash

Birds, drugs and trash do not care about boarders. Illicit drug trafficking, the migration of birds or the islands of marine debris created by ocean currents are some of the global phenomena that influence all our lives deeply but invisibly, independently from country boarders, nationality or ruling powers. Mapping out these processes without the actual map of earth makes their ubiquitous nature visible and emphasizes the importance of global thinking instead of individualistic or nationalistic points of view. Placing the pattern-maps on scarves brings the concept a step closer to the viewer.
